I made a massive oopsie for the month of August while making my queue (on 06-26-14). There’ll be two posts at midnight (AZ time) for a few days because I thought I didn’t do the queue for those days, but, alas, I did. In other news, uhh, I’ll just say that shit in a month or two. A giveaway I may actually do and some other janky stuff.
I’d just to emphasize that this is not the fault of the girl group (most likely) and it’s all on SM and the production company for letting this fly. It kinda hits close to home and it’s sort of shocking to see in a K-pop music video.
IT TOOK UNTIL JULY 2014 FOR IT TO HAPPEN, BUT I FINALLY HAVE A GENDER-SPECIFIC SONG THAT I DON’T FEEL ASHAMED OF SINGING AND THAT’S DOPE. I’ve always loved JYJ for the slow tempo songs.
The only thing that turned me off from this song was Micky’s English. He’s spoken English on other programs before, so I’m surprised it came out so bad:
All right gurl
Don’t be afraid of “it”
Imma putchu in da back sit
Junsu saved it though. And maybe it’s because I listened too much to Jaejoong’s verse to hear what he said, but I heard:
Put you in my back seed
And it eventually slurs to something like
I’m also mad that we didn’t get to see more of that set near the end. Best set I’ve ever seen in a K-pop video. It looks intense and they were literally in a box. LITERALLY. Like they were trapped. Then we get to the end…
Dis mood is right
I can get it on girl
???? Back seat
Where’s my Lexus?
By the way, before ya’ll think I’m just a Yoochun hater, I would say that he’s my JYJ bias all thanks to Rooftop Prince. He almost stopped existing to me after I get two episodes into I Miss You (the real two episodes, not the back story ones), but Yoon Eun Hye’s legs kept me in it (
the thirst is real).
That’s really all I have to say about this one. It’s a nice song and I think I’ll have it on repeat for the rest of the month. All I know is that Yoochun would have a hard time seducing a lady in English. “Back sit” sounds hilarious.
Oh, and I’m gonna start posting these to my other blog. It was originally intended for me to post my videos from YouTube, but I don’t use it too often and I’ve been thinking about turning my personal YouTube channel into a music review vlog for all genres of music. If it’s K-pop related, I’ll just reblog it here!
